Hand-crafted tables, made by English Craftsmen may sound expensive, but Hampshire Tables have found a way of reducing the cost and passing the savings on to you, the buyer. Now high quality tables, made from the very best timbers, all sourced from sustainable forests, are available at low cost from our Hampshire based workshop.

The process starts with the procurement of large quantities of the very best timber - European Oaks, English Oak and Ash and beautiful American Black Walnut, all grown in a sustainable way and in accordance with FSC principles. FSC - the Forest Stewardship Council verifies the sustainable management of forests worldwide and is an internationally recognised mark of certified timber.

By standardising table sizes we make economies of scale which we are able to pass on to the buyer. Don't feel at all restricted by the idea of only having a few sizes to choose from - we offer eight sizes of table from 1500 x 900mm to 2700 x 1100mm. In 'old money' that's around 5' x 3' to almost 9' x 3' 7" - and most people will find what they are looking for in the range.

All our tables are traditionally made - using mortise and tenon joints, for example - and they are all assembled and hand-finished by our own craftsmen in our own UK workshops.
