Our craftsmen have been making high quality, solid timber tables in our workshop for around 15 years,
We only use timbers from sustainable forests and certified by the Forest Stewardship Council - FSC,
We use traditional techniques -like mortise and tenon joints - to ensure strength and durability for longer product life,
Our timber is kiln dried to ensure stable dimensions in use.
We offer the following quality timbers for your consideration...
English OAK (Quercus robur) has much variety of grain and pattern. Heartwood is light tan to biscuit coloured.
European Oak (Sessile) is very similar in grain and colour with fewer rays.
English Ash (Fraximus excelsior) is a light coloured wood, with coarse grain and is very durable. Larger trees typically have a darkish heart. A timber traditionally used for hand tool handles and coach building.
American Black Walnut (Juglans nigra) is a wonderful new addition to our range, offers colours from light grey to chocolate/purplish brown and gives an excellent finish.
